Well the expectations I had from reading views left me disappointed when my items arrived. These are not lights for camping. I bought these just for that purpose and they were not meant for my little one purpose. They only radiate light for a very short, short , short distance. Although, it light up enough to be spotted (hanging off your bag)if you are walking around but not enough to match an actual flashlight to help guide around in the dark safely.

Quality- better than advertised photo –
Triple A batteries (3 in each) works well. Used for 3 nights camping. used 1 in tent and one outside of tent under tarp. Did it’s job. The 3 settings are great. I like using low setting but it also has extra bright and flashing. These will stay in my camping box for next time

These are fairly inexpensive which is good because they do seem to be a bit cheaply made. They are a bit finicky, but they do work with some fiddling. The 4 pack was perfect for our large family tent. Had 1 on each of the sleeping areas and then 2 in the middle common area for extra light.

I am taking a camping trip in April. I will be taking two of these with me, as I will be traveling and camping solo. I have just tried these out in a dark room and I am surprised at how bright they are. There are three settings: High, Low, and Flashing. Even the low setting, I think, would be sufficient after the sun has gone down. In addition, the bulbs are lightweight. Batteries (3 AAA per bulb) are the primary weight. Lighting technology has come a long way since I last camped over 20 years ago. I do recommend these.

I got these so each of my kids had a little light for our nighttime strolls or playing outside. They work well and the light is pretty bright. Comes with a clip to attach to bags and or other objects.
